Filigree 2 Extra Wide Martingale Dog Collar   

Handmade and gorgeous collars from 2 Hounds Design.

Add a touch of sophistication to your pup with this ornate filigree design.

Turquoise and Antique gold scrolling filigree pattern on an inky black background. This collar is only available in 2″ Wide, as a martingale collar. Perfect for the big dogs!

Choose from premium solid brass or silver hardware. The silver slides are nickel-plated solid brass and the d-ring is nickel-plated welded steel.

Add a coordinating Swiss velvet leash in Antique Gold or Turquoise to complete the set. Sold separately

Note this collar is available ONLY as a 2″ martingale. The buckle hardware for this 2 width is very large and does not meet the 2 Hounds Design comfort and aesthetic standards. No exceptions.

This and every collar:

• Starts with a strong but soft webbing core in a width to match the collar width
• Encloses the webbing entirely in either crepe- or flannel-backed satin for body and softness on the neck
• Is securely sewn using industrial-strength nylon thread on industrial sewing machines, and is
• Finished with top-of-the-line hardware – CHOICE of Brass or Silver

  Please measure BEFORE placing order. There will be a 20% restocking fee for returns exchanges due to sizing but only on new unused condition, as determined by the manufacturer. (see below for more info).

  • XS:   2 in.x 7-11 in.
  • Sm:  2 in x 10-14 in
  • Med: 2 in. x 14-18 in.
  • Lg: 2 in. x 16-20 in.
  • XL: 2 in. x 20-26 in.
  • XXL (BIG DOGS): 2 in. x 26-34 in.

    Use a soft tape measure and measure the largest part of your dog’s neck AND the smallest part of the neck (usually right behind the ears).

    This dog collar measurement chart illustrates the 3 areas you must measure in order to select the correct size for a martingale collar.

    • Measurement A: All the way around the head at the largest point

    • Measurement B: Right behind the ears (the smallest part of the neck)

    • Measurement C: Where the collar sits

    • Note:  If you are ordering a Martingale Collar, you will need measurements A, B, and C.  Use the largest measurement to choose the appropriate size.

      Martingale Style Collars
      Martingales are for dogs, and their owners, that prefer a gentle, non-pulling collar when they walk on a leash. This style is especially useful with dogs that have larger necks and smaller head (e.g. pugs). Martingale collars do not come with a side-release buckle, they slide over your dog s head; therefore, the collar must be large enough at its maximum adjustable size to slide over the widest part of your dog s head.
      Care Instructions: 
      Check your dog collars carefully for signs of excessive wear, broken chewed hardware, webbing, or stitching.  You can machine wash on the delicate cycle and air dry.
      Please note: Martingale collars should never be left on dogs without supervision.
      Return Policy for 2 Hounds Design: 
      If you need a smaller size collar, they can usually cut that down for you for just the cost of shipping.  If you need a different width or a larger collar, we will need to contact the manufacturer for instructions and the amount of the REMAKE FEE is based on what they will need to do to help you out.  All of their collars are custom-made for each order so if you need to return one for a refund, there will be 20% restocking fee.
      2 Hounds Design s Return policy is 30 days from the time your order is delivered to you. Collar and leash returns must be in new and unused condition.  Refunds will not be given otherwise.
